The Jamie Baum European Tour 2016

Had an amazing four weeks in Europe during the month of November. First in Krakow recording with flutist Leszek Wisniowski and pianist Dominik Wania and then teaching at Krakow Music Academy. Next, meeting my Quartet with Luis Perdomo, Zack Lober and Jeff Hirshfield in Katowice for the Jazz Festival to collaborate with Polish musicians Tomasz Dabrowski, Maciej Obara, Irek Wojtczak and Gabriel Niedziela. and then on to the Guimaraes Jazz Festival for two weeks and then to Barcelona and Madrid with guest trumpet player Chris Kase!

West Coast Tour 2016

Concert For Nepal at Le Poisson Rouge, NYC, July, 2015

Manu Koch and I organized and produced this concert featuring 8 bands to raise money for Nepal after the earthquake. Great to play with my former teacher, Dave Liebman, and all of the other fantastic musicians that took part including Matt Moran, Manu Koch and Kenny Warren!

Guggenheim Awards Party

What an honor to receive the 2014 Guggenheim Award in Composition along with Steve Coleman and Elliot Sharpe, and be invited to the party with all of the other awardees!
